The MWW Research Association is divided between the three locations of the participating institutions, Marbach, Weimar and Wolfenbüttel. The administrative office is situated in Weimar. The virtual and communicative centre of the association is the Digital Laboratory, which serves as the competence centre and digital project partner for the two DH projects conducted at each site. Two case studies on collection research are also carried out at each location where they articulate their needs via the Digital Laboratory. The MWW is managed by a board of directors and guided in cooperation with the association committee and the Digital Laboratory. The MWW Research Association is advised by a research advisory board comprised of experts from various research disciplines.
